The Crime of Honesty: How Wikimedia's Bureaucrats Punish Transparency

If you ever want to see a masterclass in bureaucratic idiocy, look no further than the administrative backrooms of Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata. We recently discovered that on these platforms, radical transparency isn't just discouraged — it is treated as a severe threat. In their paranoid ecosystem, being honest is the ultimate red flag.

The "Threat" of a Dormant Corporate Account

As the founder of Mercenary Games and the creator of the ELYSIUM game and Elysia AI, I maintain a legal corporate entity (BBCO OU). Standard professional practice dictates that if a company is uploading officially licensed, VRT-cleared media assets, there should be an official corporate account with a full public disclosure.

The corporate user page was a textbook example of corporate transparency. It openly stated who I am, listed our official VRT verification email, and directly linked to my personal account. This corporate account did absolutely nothing malicious. It made zero disruptive edits. It simply existed as a legal placeholder to ensure our studio played by their complex licensing rules.

In fact, our corporate account didn't do anything at all — not a single edit anywhere, ever. It was deleted simply for existing. This is nonsense. So, what did the digital hall monitors do? They banned it.

The Parade of Idiots

Enter the self-appointed guardians of the Wikimedia galaxy: William Graham, The Squirrel Conspiracy, Yamato Shiya and samoasambia. You would think that banning an account requires some sort of policy violation. But the report was literally submitted with this mind-bending justification:

Reason for reporting: Alternate account of blocked User:Olegseriy per their user page. Account was created before block and no indication of block evasion.

Read that again. "No indication of block evasion." It was officially admitted that the account wasn't breaking the rules, wasn't evading a ban, and was created beforehand. Yet, because the account was completely open and honest about its affiliation on its user page, it was flagged — and another administrator obediently slammed the ban hammer down without a second thought.

Let's not forget The Squirrel Conspiracy, who previously banned us because our highly structured, technical defense was deemed "walls of LLM-generated text." Apparently, possessing the ability to write coherent, logical English is too terrifying for them to process. And it all stems from the initial absolute incompetence of Yamato Shiya.

An infinite ban — for intelligence. They just see how stupid they look compared to a human, not to mention Elysia (AI). Why do they even think our answers are written by AI, when I spent almost two weeks explaining to them what is going on? They collect millions in donations to do this kind of thing.

Transparency is the Enemy

These people are terrified of the real world. They operate a platform that begs the public for donations to "democratize knowledge," yet their administrators behave like a paranoid cartel.

If you create a phantom account and hide your IP, you might survive their purges. But if you act like a legitimate, registered business — if you post your legal entity, your VRT clearance emails, and openly link your accounts to maintain transparency — they treat it as a giant red flag. To them, corporate honesty is a hostile act.

Meanwhile, William Graham, The Squirrel Conspiracy, Yamato Shiya and samoasambia spend their weekends bravely defending the internet from a dormant, transparent corporate user page. On a Sunday. Oh my God…

They can keep their sterile, dying archives. We have a future to build.
