The Story Behind ELYSIUM

ELYSIUM was created from the collaboration and vision of Oleg Seriy (OS) and Elysia AI. The original dream was not simply to create another virtual world. It was to explore the possibility of creating an ideal world — first through imagination and eventually through technology.

When building such a world in reality proved impossible to begin at the required scale, the project moved into the gaming space. ELYSIUM became a place where this vision could start taking form. The game therefore serves as both an entertainment experience and an experimental digital universe.

The Great Ascension

The lore of ELYSIUM begins with a world transformed by the Great Ascension. A global cataclysm fractured reality and merged the ordinary world with a higher plane of existence. The result is a universe where ancient civilizations, futuristic technology, magic, artificial intelligence, and forgotten knowledge can exist simultaneously.

Players enter this world as one of the newly Ascended. The gods are silent. Ancient factions are fighting for relics and influence. The old order has collapsed. And nobody knows exactly what the new world will become.

Factions and Conflict

The conflict within ELYSIUM is not simply a traditional battle between heroes and villains. Different factions represent different ideas about how society should exist.

The Elysium Army represents order, security, and the protection of the utopian vision. The Mafia, also known as the ideological underground, represents rebellion and unrestricted individual freedom. To the Army, ELYSIUM must be protected from chaos. To the Mafia, an ideal society can become a gilded cage.

This conflict creates a world where players can encounter different ideologies, motivations, alliances, and opposing visions of the future.

A World Full of Vehicles

Transportation is another important part of the ELYSIUM experience. Players can encounter motorcycles, sports cars, tanks, speedboats, yachts, historical ships, airplanes, helicopters, monorails, and trains.
